Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There's a 70 to 90 percent chance of gusting over 40 mph from Happy's Inn down to Hot Springs between 4PM and 6PM MDT. During the same period there's a 60 percent chance of gusting over 40 mph west of Kalispell, near Kila, and a 40 percent chance along the west side of the Mission valley and along the western shore of Flathead Lake. There's a 90 percent chance of gusts over 40 mph above 6,000 ft in the mountains. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Flathead Lake, Polson, Ronan, Kerr, Big Arm, Jette, Rocky Point, Kings Point, Pablo, Turtle Lake, Dixon, Old Agency, Hot Springs, Round Butte, Elmo, Dayton, Charlo, Moiese, Proctor, Lonepine and Niarada. Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. If on or near Flathead Lake, get out of the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
